cooperative. We are a non-profit company committed to providing friendly,

Capital Credits —
Capital credits are allocated based on a formula of several
factors. The two primary factors
each year that determine an individual's capital credits are the
amount of profit the company
generates and the business done or dollars spent with the company by
that customer. That is
the reason customers who use Golden Belt Long Distance acquire capital
credits at a higher
rate than customers who use some other long distance company.
Sometimes we lose track of our former customers who no longer live
in the area. Please

Scholarships —
Eligibility:
Golden Belt Telephone
Association and GBT Communications Subscribers at least
16 years old who have a
vocational objective and want to benefit from the
instructional
program.
Curriculum:
Communications Technology 1 & 2 Year Programs
Direct training for employment in the telephone industry.
Amount:
$1000 / School Year - Renewable for the Second Year
